Crystal mud is another name for crystal soil. The name crystal mud might suggest dirty wet soil but the name was only given because crystal mud mimics soil because it can be used to pot plants and keep cut flowers fresh.

However, Crystal Mud is not dirty like soil. It can be described as soil without the mess.Crystal mud are colourful water beads that come in a range of colours to match the decor in your home.

It was long discovered that plants do not need soil to grow and that if you artificially inseminate nutrients that are found in soil into water then the plants will strive. This is what hydroculture or hydoponics is about and dates back to the 19th century.

Crystal Mud is non-toxic, environmentally friendly and contains mainy harmless components found in soil such as Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium,Hydroxide,Acrylic acid, Polyacrylamide, water and others.

If you used Crystal mud in place of water and soil your cut flowers will last so much longer and as for your indoor plants they will thrive and grow healthy and more vigorously.

You can find the many uses of crystal Soil in the gallery or you can buy here.

    Till next time
